COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO. :
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. : 1701
WHEREAS, on Mason County Road No . -------- . known locally as the Rasor Road (east end access road)
more specifically located in Section 6 . Township 22 North, Range 1 West. WM M.P . 0 . 00 to M.P . 0 . 50
work defined as " construction" in the BARS Manual, .Page II-63 , et seq, is determined to be necessary and proper; and,
WHEREAS, this project is identified as # -------- on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program.
This project is identified as Priority # 18 on the 2001 -2006 Six Year Transportation Improvement Program.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their
intention to :
Perform Preliminary Engineering, Right of Way Acquisition and Road Construction. Build a gravel
surfaced roadway approximtely . 50 miles in length (at east end of Rasor Road) to provide access to SR 3 for a private road
network.
SAID WORK is to be performed by day labor in accordance with the Washington State
(day labor/contract)
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper, and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows :
Engineering $ 20.000 . 00
Right-of--Way $ 140A00 . 00
Road Construction $ 20,000 . 00
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity, and the County Road
Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in
accordance with WAC 136 - 18 .
ADOPTED this 6th day of March 2001 .
