NOTICE OF INTENT TO VACATE
SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ON SAID VACATION
RCW 36.87
IN THE MATTER OF THE PETITION OF RONALD A. GRIFFEY
WHEREAS, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mason County Board of Commissioners
received a petition for the vacation of the following right-of-way:
Vacate portions of Kaufman Fife and Wade Streets along with portions of the alleyway between Blocks
32 and 33, and the alleyway between Blocks 34 and 35 in the Plat of Allyn, Washington.
Kaufman Street Vacation Description: The southerly 30 feet of Kaufman Street adjacent to lot 10, block
34, beginning at the centerline centerline intersection of Kaufman and Fife Streets thence in an easterly
direction along the centerline of Kaufman Street to a point opposite of and perpendicular to the centerline
of the alley way between block 34 and 35.

34, beginning at the centerline centerline intersection of Fife and Kaufman Streets thence in an southerly
direction along the centerline of Fife Street to a point opposite of and perpendicular to the lot line
between Lots 5 and 6 of Block 34.
The westerly 30 feet of Fife Street adjacent to lots 1 through 5, block33, beginning at the centerline
centerline intersection of Fife and Wade Streets thence in an northerly direction along the centerline of
Fife Street to a point opposite of and perpendicular to the lot line between Lots 5 and 6 of Block 33.
Wade Street Vacation Description: The northerly 30 feet of Wade Street adjacent to lot 1, block 33,
beginning at the centerline centerline intersection of Wade and Fife Streets thence in an westerly
direction along the centerline of Wade Street to a point on the Plat Boundary southerly of the southwest
corner of Lot 1 Block 33.
Alleyway Vacation Description: The west half of the alleyway between Blocks 34 and 35 adjacent to
Lots 6 through 10 of Block 34. The east half of the alleyway between Blocks 32 and 33 adjacent to
Lots 4 and 5 of Block 33.
WHEREAS, the Board did set a date for public hearing on the matter and directed the Clerk to
prepare notice thereof for posting and publication;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that said hearing has been set for Tuesday, May 9,
2006 at 9:30 a.m. in the Commission Chambers, Mason County Courthouse Building I, 411 North Fifth
Street, Shelton, Washington at which time and place any taxpayer may appear to hear the County Engineer's
report, and to be heard either for or against the granting of the petition.
