The SHE,TON=MASON COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE will old the CO,NNTY harmless from a[ claims f every kind anc character arising out of or in any way connected with the services given by it for the COUNTY. It is understood that the SJ \I -MASON COUNTY CHAMBER 0L COMMERCE is an independent contractor and is not an agent of the COUNTY, and all personnel used by the SHELTON-MASON COUN JY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE in connection with the rendering of services contemplated by this contract shall be employees of the SHE:TON-MASON COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and not the COUNTY, and shall nave no claim against the COUNTY for compensation or other benefits available to the employees of said COUNTY. lV. This agreement shall be for a term of one year beginning January 1, 2006. V. The COUNTY will remit Lodging Tax funds to the SHELTON-MASON COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE in an amount not to exceed $12,000 to provide visitor information services at the Shelton Visitor lnforrnation Center.
