HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-07 - Res. for Exchange Real Property with North Mason School DistrictRESOL TION NO. 7 2 —0 7 NOTICE OF INTENT TO EXCHANGE REAL PRO°ERTY SH i i INC TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ON SAID EXCHANGE MCC 3.40.260 �S, K S T UC H GS C=J E RBY GHV G ! that the Mason County Board of County Commissioners intends to exchange certain County -owned surplus real property with the North Mason School District, said property being described as follows: County -Owned Property: Approximately 39.43 acres located adjacent to the North Mason School District campus on SR-302, more particularly described as the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 8, Township 22 North, Range 1, W.W.M., excepting road rights of way, Tax Parcel No.12208 24 00000. North Mason School District Property: Approximately 11.27 acres located on the east side of Sand Hill Road approximately 315 feet south of NE Fern Way, more particularly described as all that portion of the East half of the Northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 23 Range 1, WWM, Tying easterly of the right of way of Sand Hill Road, excepting the North three quarters of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter and the South half of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section, Township and Range, a portion of Tax Parcel No. 12330 10 63000. V�iGi H= .�, S9 the terms of the transaction include a direct exchange of approximately 29.38 acres of County -owned property for approximately 11 27 acres of School District property and cash equaling $235,000; and the purchase of an option by the School District to purchase the remaining approximately 10.05 acres of County -owned property for a price of $80,000, with $10,000 as option consideration and an option term of three years. yHERFAS, the Board did set a date for public hearing on the matter and directed the Clerk to prepare notice thereof for publication; NOW, 7H ER F,F o G E9 B G T RESO ,V :J9 that said hearing has been set for esday9 Mao uust 79 2007 at 9:30 am. in the Commission Chambers, Mason County Courthouse Building I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton, Washington, at which time and place any taxpayer may appear and to be heard either for or against the exchange of real property.
