WHEREAS, Resolution #132 —85 established change fZxnds for the Building Department (now the
Department of Community Development) and Environmental Health Departments (now part of Public Health
Department);
WIIIH,REAS, Resolution #114-96 increased the change funds for the Department of Community
Development and the Environmental-Iealth Department, to $100.00 (One Hundred Dollars and no/100's) for each
department;
WHJ-i ► AS, Resolution # 10-97 created a second cash drawer for the Department of Community
Development and the Environmental Health Department of $100.00 (One Hundred Dollars and no/100's) for each
department;
WHEREAS, it has been determined and approved by the Mason County r'reasurer that as these
departments are currently sharing cash receipting duties; that there is established two cash drawers for the
Department of Community evelopment and the Environmental Health epartment. That these two cash drawers
total $400.00 (Four Hundred Dollars), $200.00 (Two Hundred Dollars) in each cash drawer;
WHEREAS, it has been determined and approved by the Mason County Treasurer that there is a petty cash
fund established for the Department of Community Development and that it be established that the amount in that
Petty Cash Fund be $250.00 (Two Hundred Fifty Dollars);
NOW THEREFORE, The Board of Mason County Commissioners, does hereby approve the Mason
County '1 reasurer's recommendation that the number of cash drawers for the Department of Community
Development and the Environmental Health Department total two cash drawers of $200.00 (Two Hundred Dollars)
each for a total of $400.00 (Four Hundred Dollars); and that the amount of the Petty Cash fund for the Department
of Community Development is $250.00 (Two Hundred Fifty Dollars).
