APPROVAL OF SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS,Mason County owns the real property parcel 31917-22-91043 and 31917-22-91044,located generally
parallel to US Highway 101 between Lynch Road and Old Olympic Highway in Shelton, WA; and
WHEREAS,this parcel was acquired as a right-of-way easement by Mason County Public Works for County Road
Project 1861 Simmons Road Connector; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, upon the recommendation of the Property Manager, has
determined that the property is surplus to the needs of the County; and,
WHEREAS, Mason County has received an offer to purchase the property in the amount of$3,550 from Sunsea
Jack Cloutier and Danielle De Youngue; and,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Mason County Board of County Commissioners that
the property described above (parcel no. 31917-22-91043 and 31917-22-91044) is approved at the price of$3,550 to
Sunsea Jack Cloutier and Danielle De Youngue; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proceeds of the sale of said property are to be dedicated first to any
delinquent property tax obligations and related penalties, expenses and assessments; and next to reimbursement of the
Property Management expenses; and finally,to the Current Expense Fund; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Commissioner Randy Neatherlin, licensed real estate broker in the state of
Washington, is authorized to sign the related closing documents and the Property Manager initiate payment of 8%fee of
sale price to the County's real estate agent.
