HomeMy WebLinkAbout69-14 - Res. 2014 Budget Supplemental Appropriation/Budget Transfer - Notice of HearingRESOLUTION NO. 2014 BUDGET SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION/BUDGET TRANSFER — NOTICE OF HEARING CI, Jig WHEREAS, by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year 2014, it is necessary to make provisions for S upplemental Appropriation/Budget Transfers to the budget as required by RCW 36.40.100 and RCW 36.40.195 for the following: Current Expense — $4,400 Supplemental Appropriation, $57,499.79 budget transfer from Current Expense Ending Fund Balance $190,659.60 budget transfer from Sheriff's Special Fund to Current Expense, $80 000 budget transfer from N on Departmental to Accrued Leave Fund $116,224 00 budget transfer from Current Expense Ending Fund Balance to ER&R, $116,875.00 budget transfer from Current Expense Ending Fund Balance to IT Fund $109,181 28 budget transfer from Current Expense Ending Fund Balance to Non Departmental, $600,000 S upplemental Appropriation. WSU - $4,400 Increase in revenue from Noxious Weed Control Grant Funding and $4,400 in expenditures against this revenue. This will have no Current Expense impact. Clerk's Office — $6,158.50 budget transfer from Current Expense Ending Fund balance to cover costs incurred in increase juror notifications S heriff's Office - $190,659.60 budget transfer from Sheriff's Special Fund to Current Expense/Sheriff's Care & Custody to record revenue into the account it. was budgeted for Accrued Leave - $80,000.00 budget transfer from Current Expense Non Departmental Accrued Leave to Special Fund Accrued Leave to record budgeted expenditures into the account it is being expended from. Facilities/Parks & Trails — $51,341.29 budget transfer from Current Expense Ending Fund balance to purchase and repair of Memorial Hall Roof $23,957.92, Sandhill Park Irrigation Pump $6,225.40, Juvenile Detention Water Heater Replacement $10,770.94, Skatepark Repairs $4,387.03 and Courtroom B Bench $6 000.00. N on Departmental - $116,224.00 budget transfer from Current Expense Ending Fund Balance to ER&R to repay one third of vehicle. replacement values utilized in 2010. N on Departmental - $116,875.00 budget transfer from Current Expense Ending Fund Balance to the IT Fund to equitably allocate the IT department costs among all Current Expense General Fund Departments and all Special Funds. N on Departmental - $109,181.28 budget transfer from Current Expense Ending Fund Balance to Non Departmental to cover the cost of unanticipated expenditures for $10,680.00 to the IRS $15,962.07 to the DRS, $12,480.00 for property management charges, $8,530.40 for Teamsters Settlement, and $61,528.81 for State Audit charges. Non -Departmental - Appropriate $600,000 to cover receipt of 911 Enhanced Tax received from the State, in Current Expense, per the State Auditors recommendation. It should not be receipted into a Special Fund. Appropriate $600,000 to cover remittances to MACECOM for their portion of the State Remittances THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Board of Mason County Commissioners: That the 16th day of December, 2014 at the hour of 9:30 a.m. in the Mason County Commissioners Chambers in the Courthouse Building I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton, Washington, is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of Supplemental Appropriation/Budget Transfers to the 2014 Budget as follows: WSU/Noxious Weed Control - Increase Revenue and expend, $4,400 Current Expense — Clerks Office - $6,158.50 Sheriff's Special Fund to Current Expense/Sheriff's Care and Custody Transfer - $190,659.60 Current Expense — Facilities - $51,341.29 Non Departmental to Accrued Leave Fund - $80,000.00 Current Expense to ER&R Fund - $116,224.00 Current Expense to IT Fund - $116,875.00 Current Expense — Non Departmental $109,181.28 Non Departmental - Increase Revenue and expend, $600,000 The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to cause notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law.
