HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/16/2020 MASON COUNTY CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION Notice of Hearing NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mason County Civil Service Commission will hold a public hearing in the Commission Chambers at Mason County Administration Building I, 411 N. 5th St, Shelton, Washington, on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at 5:15 p.m. SAID HEARING will be to consider a revision to Civil Service Rule 6.9B relating to Service Credit to include provisional employees. Old Language "Service Credit for Reserve Deputies: Applicants who are current reserve deputies for the Mason County Sheriff's Office and who obtain a passing score on an examination for original appointment, shall receive an additional 10 (ten)percent preference points." New Language "Service Credit for Reserve Deputies and Provisional Employ: Applicants who are current reserve deputies or provisional employees for the Mason County Sheriff's Office and who obtain a passing score on an examination for original appointment, shall receive an additional 10 (ten)percent preference points."
