Alder St. SHEL TON, WA 98584 TO: KMAS, KRXY, SHELTON-MASON COUNTY JOURNAL, THE OLYMPIAN, SHEL TON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, NORTH MASON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, CITY OF SHEL TON, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL, THE SUN RE: Lifting Mason County Burning Restrictions COUNTY-WIDE OUTDOOR BURN RESTRICTIONS EFFECTIVE 8:01 AM – Thursday, October 27, 2022 With the recent rains lowering the National Fire Danger Rating System to the “Low” category, Mason County will be following DNR’s lifting of all burn restrictions effective Thursday October 27 at 0800, allowing for Residential Burning and Permitted Land Clearing Burns. Please note that if you live within the Urban Growth Areas of Allyn, Belfair, and Shelton, only Recreational Burning is allowed.
